Perhaps your distinction of Biden as an operational manager is an important one, Peter. And, probability indicates that Kamala may in fact become President into Biden’s next term, if he’s elected. But I’m willing to take that chance because either of these competent people are preferable to the alternative.

It's two boats and a helicopter.

President Biden has stated that he's in this race until "God Almighty" tells him to get out.

In this atheist's opinion, God has already voiced His opinion; I'm very much reminded about the parable of the drowned man (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parable_of_the_drowning_man):

A storm descends on a small town, and the downpour soon turns into a flood. As the waters rise, the local preacher kneels in prayer on the church porch, surrounded by water. By and by, one of the townsfolk comes up the street in a canoe.

"Better get in, Preacher. The waters are rising fast."

"No," says the preacher. "I have faith in the Lord. He will save me."

Still the waters rise. Now the preacher is up on the balcony, wringing his hands in supplication, when another guy zips up in a motorboat.

"Come on, Preacher. We need to get you out of here. The levee's gonna break any minute."

Once again, the preacher is unmoved. "I shall remain. The Lord will see me through."

After a while the levee breaks, and the flood rushes over the church until only the steeple remains above water. The preacher is up there, clinging to the cross, when a helicopter descends out of the clouds, and a state trooper calls down to him through a megaphone.

"Grab the ladder, Preacher. This is your last chance."

Once again, the preacher insists the Lord will deliver him.

And, predictably, he drowns.

A pious man, the preacher goes to heaven. After a while he gets an interview with God, and he asks the Almighty, "Lord, I had unwavering faith in you. Why didn't you deliver me from that flood?"

God shakes his head. "What did you want from me? I sent you two boats and a helicopter."

The calls for President Biden's withdrawal strikes me as terribly one sided. I have yet to hear one voice to call for Trump to do the same. Biden's call are based on speculation; Trump's disqualification is based on fact. He is an adjudicated rapists; he has been convicted for 34 felonies; he cannot remember the name of his doctor and ramblings about sharks. His non profits were proven to be shams and the worse of it, golden shoes are ugly. The Supreme Court just gave him a green light to be the dictator on day one since any act, including assinsinating opponents is not apparently constiutionally. Trump advocates a 10% tarriff on imported goods and theateans the greatest deporation of immigrants in the naton's history. Remember that when inflation resumes its upwars

spiral. There are legitimate worries about Biden's fitnes for office, but there should be none about Trump's. Hei is the most dangerous man in America!

Again, couldn’t disagree with you more. Never watched the West Wing, found it uninteresting & still do.
