It’s hard to make predictions, especially about the future. But I predict money will continue to come and go. In fact, it’s getting past time for some of it to go back from the haves to the have nots.

In a way, this is about Trump. Isn’t his on-off-on again tariff craziness about manipulating the stock market so he can take advantage when it drops and rises?

I'm sure he's rich enough and not motivated by the money. He seems to thrive on deal making and the brag that goes along with it. If they are deals for peace I'm all in with that.

I have a series of buy orders for index funds, laddering limits down from a 15% correction on down to an average-bear 33% decline, and I have been readjusting during the last few weeks as the market made new tops. Do I want to own a basket of stocks after they crash? I suppose I will have buyer's remorse, especially if the market tanks further. "Nobody rings a bell at the bottom" was the mantra long ago, I recall.

I never cease to be amazed at how the market refuses to do what I want it to do. It's been this way ever since the Dow first went over 1,000 and I was certain it was too frothy.

I agree with Peter. These are worrysome times. Bubbles are created by human nature. To me, this is reminiscent of the late 90's. Only AI stocks have replaced .com stocks. The big question; Is this 1997 or 2000?

Largely unreported this week was Bitcoin's 20 percent drop (its largest ever) following Trump's announcement of a 100% tariff on China. Surprisingly, it was not because of the tariff's effect, but because it made Trump look very weak, and the Cryptomaniacs are deathly afraid that if he falters, their house of cards will collapse. Because the Trump family's wealth is tied to Crypto almost immediately, the tariff comment was rescinded, and now China is our new best friend. The bubbles are bursting.

I'll hazard a guess and predict, Peter, that all your readers qualify as 'Rich'. Maybe not Hollywood elite rich, but on the global scale of net worth I suspect we are all 1%ers. Pretty sweet. We ought to be the most content, most joyous people on the planet with so much blessings. I trust everyone's reality aligns with my expectations.
